Token Humanity Protocol Plummets Due to Bot Scandal Occupying 88%?
Token of #HumanityProtocol , a project that received high expectations thanks to its commitment to fighting bots and identifying humans through palm scanning, has just plummeted over 61% just a few days after listing.
The reason stems from the statement of Terrance Kwok, the project's founder, who admitted in a leaked conversation that out of 9 million Human IDs created, only nearly 1 million are real people, with the rest mostly being bots competing for airdrop slots.
Humanity Protocol is promoted as a counter to Worldcoin, using biometrics to create unique IDs to avoid Sybil Attacks. However, the airdrop of 1.2 billion tokens attracted a large number of fake accounts. Many users complained about being excluded from the reward list or receiving unfair allocations.
Although Kwok promised to adjust token distributions and 'soothe' the community, the token price continues to lose over 30% from its initial listing.
Previously, the project had raised 20 million USD and was valued at up to 1.1 billion USD, backed by Pantera Capital and Jump Crypto. But the bot scandal is causing investors to doubt the project's ability to combat fraud.
📌 Note: This incident is a wake-up call for crypto players when participating in biometric airdrop projects. Be cautious of bot risks, personal data, and account hacks! #anhbacong
