Suddenly found 1 BTC (that's about $108,000) in your wallet? Before you celebrate — be cautious! Such situations may be related to fraud, money laundering, or even intelligence agency operations.

### 🔍 Why can they track and find you?

1. Dirty money – if BTC is stolen (for example, from a hacked exchange) or used in illegal transactions, it can be tagged and tracked.

2. AML policies – exchanges and services check transactions, and if you attempt to cash out such funds, your account may be frozen.

3. FSB and Rosfinmonitoring – in Russia, cryptocurrency transactions are regulated, and if BTC is linked to crime, intelligence agencies can track you down via IP addresses, KYC on exchanges, or bank transfers.

4. Trap for "dirty money" – sometimes scammers intentionally send "dirty" money to later blackmail or force you to return it under threats.

### ⚠️ What to do?

✔ Do not touch BTC – do not move or try to sell it.

✔ Check the source – using blockchain explorers (for example, [Blockchair](https://blockchair.com/)).

✔ Do not contact the sender if they have reached out to you.

✔ Consult a lawyer – if the amount is significant and you are unsure of its origin.

✔ Use a mixer (carefully!) – but this is risky and could raise even more suspicions.

### 💡 Conclusion:

Free cheese is only in a mousetrap. 1 BTC can turn out to be a problem, not a gift. Be careful and do not take risks!
