Wealth Management Section
There hasn't been anything particularly interesting these past few days. Even if there are new listings, they are either of smaller capacity or not of high quality. So naturally, I found myself with some idle cash with nowhere to go. Putting it into exchange wealth management yields too low a return.
After some selection, I ultimately chose two suitable projects to invest in.
1. Standx, a stable yield token + DEX project developed by the former Binance contract team, aims to go the non-VC route. This model can either become significant or, if it fails, it is basically just a small endeavor.
It has been operational for a few months now and has over 30 million FDV, with endorsements that are fairly reputable, so safety shouldn't be an issue.
The annualized yield is around 5%, with staking scores linked to subsequent airdrops. This part of the return is hard to estimate, but based on similar projects and product analysis, let's assume it has a return of 5-20%.
In total, it offers a baseline annualized return of about 10%. The advantage is that it allows for flexible withdrawals and deposits without fees.
2. Aster's ALP treasury, with an annualized return of around 20-25%.
After depositing, there is a 48-hour lock-up period, and there is a 0.5% fee for deposits and withdrawals, meaning it takes seven days to break even.
Additionally, AU points are no longer available, so this doesn't really offer much in terms of potential or extra income. The only advantage is that the annualized return is higher.
Don’t underestimate these two; they are what I have carefully selected—simple and stable.
There are also many high-annualized liquidity and single-coin staking incentives on Merkl, but most have small capacities, complex rules, variable gameplay, and short durations. Managing them can be very troublesome, and it's not worth paying attention to so many small projects for such a small gain.
