Robinhood Launches Micro Futures Contracts for Bitcoin-XRP
Robinhood, a digital brokerage firm, launched micro futures contracts for Bitcoin, Solana, and XRP on Friday (27/06). This launch took place in the United States and aims to expand crypto futures products that were previously only available for Bitcoin and Ether (Ethereum).
The California-based firm stated that it wants to provide broader access to the crypto derivatives market. Therefore, this new product allows more people to participate in trading without having to invest large amounts of capital upfront.
Micro futures enable traders to invest and speculate on the price movements of an asset (such as Bitcoin) with significantly smaller capital. Thus, compared to standard futures contracts that require substantial funds, these micro futures are more affordable and more friendly for small or beginner traders.
