Today I would like to officially thank one person who has accomplished something truly extraordinary.
Donald Trump – thank you.
You did something that no one before you has managed to do. You made America… small.
Not just in the eyes of the world. In the eyes of its own citizens.
Some have tried for decades to undermine the myth of American exceptionalism. You did it in just a few years.
In times when America was a model of freedom, democracy, and strength — you showed how easily all of that can be dismantled. No bombs are needed, no wars. Just populism, contempt for facts, dividing people, and building a cult of personality.
Not long ago, I doubted this would happen so quickly.
I knew the bubble would eventually burst — but I didn’t think you would do it so effectively.
And yet — you succeeded. You shattered the myth of American power, leaving chaos, divisions, and the question: what’s next?
For that – paradoxically – you deserve thanks.
Because thanks to you, the world saw how fragile democracy can be when we hand power to those who love power more than people.
Thanks to you, we saw that there are no "eternal empires," and values will not defend themselves.
Trump – you are great. Not for the greatness of deeds, but for the enormity of consequences.
Your name will remain in history – as a symbol of what can happen when ignorance meets power, and arrogance replaces responsibility.
And for all of this – thank you.
