June 27 Crypto Briefing
Market Overview:
Current market sentiment leans towards 'Greed', with the Fear and Greed Index reaching 74, indicating a general bullish outlook among investors.
Bitcoin's current price is approximately $107,275, with a slight decline over the past 24 hours, fluctuating between $106,438 and $108,272, while $105,000 serves as a solid support level. High trading volume and continued buying by whales further strengthen the optimistic atmosphere in the market.
Today's Key Points:
1. Bitcoin Whales Continue to Accumulate
The recent highlight is the aggressive buying by Bitcoin whales. The number of wallets holding over 1,000 BTC has increased by 2.5%, accumulating a total of 45,000 BTC, worth approximately $3.06 billion at the price on June 8. Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $1.2 billion this week.
2. Ethereum Staking Hits Record High
The biggest highlight on the Ethereum chain is the surge in staking volume. In the first half of June, over 500,000 ETH were newly staked, pushing the total staking above 35 million coins, accounting for nearly 29% of the total supply. Following the Pectra upgrade on May 7, the maximum staking per account has increased to 2,048 ETH, facilitating operations for large holders. The reduced circulation is expected to drive up the ETH price, with major addresses currently holding 22.8 million ETH.
3. DeFi Lending Reaches New Highs
The DeFi lending protocol's TVL (Total Value Locked) has reached $55 billion, with active loan volume at $26.3 billion. Aave leads significantly with $16.5 billion in active loans, followed by Morpho and Spark with $2.2 billion and $1.6 billion, respectively. Stablecoin lending (USDT, USDC, DAI) continues to grow, and increased leverage also brings liquidation risks. KOLs @Kaffchad and @nehalzzzz1 both point out that the DeFi lending TVL has set a historical record, growing 4.2 times over two years, indicating that decentralized finance is being embraced by an increasing number of users.
Regardless of market fluctuations, remember to remain rational, manage risks effectively, and don't let emotions dictate your investment decisions.
Wishing you successful trading, and always remember to DYOR!
