U.S. President Donald Trump has
been nominated for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize by U.S. Representative Buddy Carter for his role in brokering a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
The Government of Pakistan also supported his nomination, citing his efforts in promoting regional peace, including between India and Pakistan.
While the Nobel Committee does not confirm nominees publicly, both Carter and Pakistan issued official statements.
