Guotai Junan Securities became the first brokerage firm in Hong Kong to be licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to provide full crypto trading services on June 26, 2025. Customers can trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins on the company's platform through SFC-approved partners (CoinGecko). #GuotaiJunan International, the parent company, is also the first broker from mainland China to receive this approval. This move promotes the integration of crypto into traditional finance, supporting DeFi and blockchain in Hong Kong.
