The Latin American Federation of Bitcoiners has already gathered 16 countries in less than a month since its creation
In less than a month since its creation, the Latin American Federation of Bitcoiners has achieved remarkable growth, adding 39 communities from 16 countries. This rapid advancement demonstrates the growing interest in Bitcoin in the region, aiming to promote its adoption, foster financial education, and activate circular economies using the cryptocurrency.
The Federation was driven by the need to unite diverse communities that, although sharing the same vision about Bitcoin, operated in isolation. With the support of groups like Satoshi Somos Todos (Dominican Republic), Cuba Bitcoin, and Bitcoin Berlin (El Salvador), among others, the federation is consolidating a regional movement to position Bitcoin as a key tool for financial inclusion.
The impact of the Latin American Federation of Bitcoiners
The member communities are committed to organizing educational events and projects focused on integrating Bitcoin into local businesses. Through workshops and activities, the Federation seeks to build an ecosystem where Bitcoin is not only a digital currency but also a driver of economic growth and social empowerment.
Its mission has been clear: to create a network of regional collaboration that helps overcome geographical and cultural barriers, allowing the region to become a global reference in Bitcoin adoption.
