BECOMING AGAIN
When you realize…
You’ve drifted far from who you were,
Lost the voice that once roared soft and sure,
Let passion fade, watched youth dissolve,
Innocence traded for burdens unsolved.
To find yourself — the real you then,
You’ll have to stumble, break, descend,
Fall to the weight of what clings to your name,
Shed the layers built by fear and blame.
Suffer the unbecoming — let it unfold,
To carve your new, old self from the cold,
Breathe… just breathe… and hear the sound,
Of forgotten dreams still circling ‘round.
See them, hold them — every scar, every wrong,
Face them daily, grow steady, grow strong,
Step by step, the fragments align,
Your fire returns, your spirit refines.
All dreams are valid — etched in the sky,
Lost or delayed, they never truly die.
