1. Since entering the crypto space in 2015, many stories have unfolded in the cryptocurrency world. I plan to write a serialized account of these stories, just as a record. The main character of the first episode is Ethereum L2 Loopring. Many people may not remember Loopring, or even look down on Ethereum L2, but Loopring has risen from a low of $0.03 at the end of 2018 to $3.7 in March 2021, an increase of over 100 times.

2. Loopring is one of the earliest public chains to transition to Ethereum L2. In the last cycle, there were not thousands of L2s, and the market did not care whether you had users, revenue, or VC selling tokens; as long as you had a narrative, you could take off. However, in this cycle, countless L2s like ARB, OP, ZKSYNC, and STARKNET have exhausted the market's confidence.

3. The reason I'm writing about Loopring today is that I received an email from Loopring, stating that the Loopring wallet will stop services by the end of June 2025. So today, I withdrew the small change I left in Loopring's second layer a few years ago. I remember around 2020, I joined a Loopring wallet group, where the Loopring team enthusiastically collected user questions about the second layer. When I received news from Loopring again recently, I was informed that the wallet would soon cease operations. It has been five years in the blink of an eye.

4. This is how the crypto world works; a hot sector or star project may be forgotten after a while. Ethereum L2 has been abandoned by the market, and it is normal if ARB or even ETH is forgotten in the coming years. Thank you for watching until now. I am Chili, and I will write more about the cryptocurrency world in the future.
