CLOSED MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT TRUMP AND PRESIDENT UKRAINE ZELENSKY ON THE SIDELINES OF THE NATO SUMMIT

President Trump and President Zelensky just had a closed meeting lasting 50 minutes on the sidelines of the NATO Summit. The meeting was not attended by reporters, the host country, or NATO. Details of the meeting remain confidential.

After the meeting, President Zelensky wrote the following on X:

"I just had a long and substantive meeting with President Trump @POTUS.

We discussed all the truly important issues. I thank Mr. President, thank you United States of America. We discussed how to achieve a ceasefire and real peace. We talked about how to protect our people. We appreciate the interest and readiness to support bringing peace closer. Details will be announced later."

President Trump commented:

"We have reached an agreement with Ukraine to take a large part of their land to exploit minerals.

We need it."
