President Donald Trump called Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell "terrible" in his latest attack on the head of the central bank and said he has three or four people in mind as candidates for the Fed's top position.
"I know between three or four people who I will choose," Trump told reporters when asked if he was interviewing candidates to replace Powell.

The main contenders include former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh, National Economic Council Chairman Kevin Hassett, current Fed Governor Christopher Waller, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
