Xinhua News Agency, Washington, June 24 - U.S. President Trump stated on the 24th that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran is now in effect, warning all parties not to violate the agreement.
In the early hours of the 24th Eastern Time, Trump posted a brief message on social media in all capital letters saying: "The ceasefire agreement is now in effect, please do not violate it!"
Before Trump announced the ceasefire between Israel and Iran, the Israeli military reported that Iran launched six waves of missile attacks against Israel within approximately two hours. Israeli emergency services reported that the Iranian missile attacks resulted in at least four Israeli deaths that day.
