Metaplanet Raises $517 Million in One Day to Boost Bitcoin Investments
Japanese investment company "Metaplanet" announced today, Wednesday, that it raised $517 million in one day to purchase more Bitcoin, in a move reflecting an increasing reliance on an institutional strategy similar to that followed by "MicroStrategy".

This funding is among the largest capital raises in one day for a Japanese company focused on Bitcoin investment, reinforcing Metaplanet's position as an emerging player in the cryptocurrency market.
In a parallel context, the company announced earlier in the week an investment of $5 billion in its American branch, as part of a global expansion plan aimed at building a global institutional treasury model that supports its position in the digital market and enhances its long-term reliance on Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset.
