"I just learned that (Benjamin) Netanyahu has been summoned to court on Monday," Trump said in an interview. He immediately continued by comparing the situation to the legal challenges he faces in the United States. "It’s a disgrace. This is a political witch hunt, just like what they did to me."

These comments came after the Jerusalem District Court officially summoned Netanyahu to attend a crucial hearing in a longstanding corruption case against him. Unlike previous hearings, his presence this time is required by the court.
