Company #RippleX has released support for developers $XRP

Ledger, version 2.5.0 of "rippled," its reference application for the network.

The new release comes with a series of amendments that expand network functionality and governance tools. The new amendments are now available for voting under the XRP Ledger amendment process, which allows protocol changes after two weeks of support from over 80% of trusted validators.

The seven amendments include "TokenEscrow," which allows escrow accounts for IOUs and multi-purpose tokens; and "Batch," which allows atomic execution of aggregated transactions; and "Permi,,ssionedD,,EX," which enables D,EX operators to control participation to ensure regulatory compliance.

AMMv1_3 introduces fixed checks for automated market makers, enhancing risk management at the protocol level. (This update adds a security check to ensure that no important rules are violated when handling funds.)

Two long-awaited fixes address vulnerabilities in NFT tokens and expired payment channels - E,nforce,NFTokenT,rustlineV2 and Pay,Chan,Cancel,After. One ensures that NFT tokens cannot be sent to unauthorized individuals, while the other prevents the inadvertent creation of stale payment channels after their expiration date.

This release also improves transaction relay logic, network input/output capacity, and the accuracy of multi-signature simulations, integrating XRPL Commons as a new Boot, strap set.

RippleX has requested validators to upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible to ensure service continuity.

This update comes at a time when XRPL continues to evolve into a more flexible and permission-aware platform, supported by DeFi use cases and institutional developers interested in compliance.
