$WCT I first came across #WalletConnect a few months ago, initially just for convenience, scanning a code to connect my wallet to a DeFi platform. I didn't expect to get hooked. What impressed me the most wasn't how many wallets it is compatible with or how many chains it supports, but the feeling of "you don't need to know too much to use it with peace of mind." Scanning the code connects quickly and steadily, without needing to install plugins, fear of phishing links, or worrying about private key exposure, which is crucial in today's environment filled with hackers.
Later, I discovered that @WalletConnect is not just a simple connection protocol, but actually has a strong community ecosystem behind it. For example, the $WCT incentive program, many developers and content creators around me are involved. I also wrote some tutorials and experience posts, and surprisingly received an airdrop. This made me realize that WalletConnect is no longer just a "tool"; it has started to become a channel between me and the Web3 world—a safe, free channel that can also generate real benefits.
Now, whether I'm doing on-chain transactions, NFT minting, or participating in new project tests, the first thing that comes to mind is to open WalletConnect. Sometimes, I don't even bother using the PC; I just scan with my phone and it's done. Once I got used to it, there's no going back. If it really integrates features like account abstraction and gas prepayment in the future, it will truly change the entire way of on-chain interaction. I hope $WCT will play an increasingly significant role in the ecosystem, and I also hope WalletConnect can maintain this "clean, direct, and non-intrusive" experience, which is very important for ordinary users like me who want to participate without being tied down by technology.
