From $3600 to $78,000: It's not luck, it's a battle fought with effort
In May 2023, I had only $3600 left in my account! Yes, I had lost a lot from the peak down to just a single-digit position, even dreaming about liquidation.
Who would have thought that with just this $3600, I managed to roll it up to $78,000. There was no belief, just unwillingness to give up.
I kept an eye on the BTC and ETH short-term market, only trading the structures I understood, using 3-5x leverage for trend trades, not chasing highs, not holding losing positions, and enforcing strict risk control.
On the first wave, I made $2700. I didn't rush to increase my position; instead, I withdrew my principal and continued to roll the remaining amount with just profits.
The real turning point came when ETH surged from $1540 to $1760:
I entered in three phases, reasonably leveraged, capturing the entire wave, with a single profit exceeding $12,000.
That night, I stayed up reviewing my trades, not out of excitement, but out of fear of getting carried away. Later, I also caught a high position short on BTC, with a small stop-loss leading to a large opportunity, earning $16,000 in one trade.
At that moment, I truly understood:
Turning around is not about a big gamble, but about a replicable system strategy.
During this time, I also encountered setbacks, but each time I controlled my drawdowns, had stop-losses, set limits, avoided greed, and didn't gamble.
Many people think making money in the crypto world relies on luck, but the truth is: some people endure the nights of liquidation and can calmly review trades and watch the market. I never brag about how great I am; I simply stuck to a few more stop-losses and acted on impulse fewer times than others.
Looking back now, I still keep the screenshot of my $3600 account, not out of nostalgia, but as a reminder to myself: that is evidence of how I crawled up from the abyss.
I won't go into too many details; those who truly understand will naturally hear the value in this!
If you can read this far, perhaps you've already begun to ponder:
Is the path you're currently on bringing you closer to turning around, or are you moving further off course?
