Arizona to Become First State to Pass 2 Bitcoin Reserve Bills 🎉🎉

The Arizona House of Representatives has just passed bill HB2324, which would create a state fund from Bitcoin and digital assets seized in criminal cases. It now awaits Governor Hobbs' signature to become law.

Arizona passed its first Bitcoin Reserve Bill in May, which would allow the state to hold unclaimed digital assets such as unclaimed airdrops or staking rewards. However, Governor Hobbs also rejected two bills SB1025 and SB1373 on BTC investment from the state budget due to concerns about market volatility.

Of the three states that have passed Bitcoin Reserve Funds, only Texas is the first to use the budget to collect $10M BTC. Arizona and New Hampshire have just passed laws allowing the creation of reserve funds.$BTC
