The "Write to Earn" section on Binance is primarily known as Binance Square. If you're a content creator on Binance Square, you can enable a "Tips" feature that allows your followers to send you cryptocurrency.
Here's how to add the tip icon (or enable the tipping feature) in Binance Square:
Eligibility Requirements:
* Minimum 1,000 followers: This is the primary requirement to be eligible to receive tips on Binance Square.
* Complete Identity Verification (KYC): Ensure your Binance account is fully verified.
* Binance Square Profile: Have a complete Binance Square profile with an avatar and nickname.
* Region Availability: Note that the "Tips" feature may not be available in all regions.
Steps to Enable the Tipping Feature:
* Go to Binance Square: Open your Binance app or visit the Binance website, and navigate to the "Square" section (often found in the bottom navigation bar on the app or under "More" on the website).
* Access Creator Center: Go to your profile within Binance Square. Look for an option like "Creator Center" or "Apply to be a Creator" (if you haven't already).
* Find the "Tips" Section: Within the Creator Center, you should find a specific "Tipping Future" in setting icon.
* Enable the Tipping Feature: In the "Tips" section, you'll see an option to enable or turn on the "Tipping" feature. Toggle this on.
Important Notes:
* 100% of Tips Go to Creator: Binance Square states that creators receive 100% of the tips sent by users; Binance does not take a portion.
* Supported Cryptocurrencies: Tips on Binance Square support various cryptocurrencies available in your Funding, Spot, and Earn wallets. You can manually select your preferred wallet and token after entering the amount.
* Minimum Tip Amount: The minimum tip amount is typically the token equivalent of $1 USD, and only supports whole dollar amounts.
* Availability: The "Tips" feature for users (the "Give a Tip" icon) is currently available on Android and web platforms, but not on iOS.
* No Refunds: Tips are considered final transactions and refunds are not possible.
By meeting the follower requirement and enabling the feature in your Creator Center, your followers will then see a "Give a Tip" icon under your posts, allowing them to support your content.
