Advice from a Trader!!!
As an experienced trader, I want to share some old rules from within the circle to remind the brothers still on the journey:
1. The cryptocurrency market is a battleground between the East and the West; the real big trends occur between 21:30 Beijing time and 7:30 the next morning. Prices often drop during the day and rise at night; when prices rise during the day, they usually drop back at night.
2. Look for bottoms during the day and don’t chase highs impulsively. A significant drop during the day is often an opportunity, and foreigners will buy at night; when there is a sharp rise during the day, hold some back, as it can easily drop at night.
3. A spike is a signal; the deeper the spike, the more critical the buying and selling point—don’t ignore the “language” on the candlestick chart.
4. Good news is used for offloading; before major meetings or significant good news is announced, prices often rise, but once the news is out, the market tanks—this script is all too familiar.
5. Coins that are hyped up in communities often should be traded in the opposite direction. The more mystical the talk, the harsher the trap; conversely, coins that everyone overlooks often suddenly take off.
6. When you are heavily invested, a liquidation is not far away. Don’t ask why; it’s because the exchange has already set its sights on you.
7. Just when you have stopped your losses on a short position, it crashes; just when you want to break even, it rebounds and suddenly stops. It’s not that you can’t do it; it’s that you got out too early, or your position is too heavy.
8. When you take profits, it rallies; when you are excited, a drop is already brewing. Your emotions are the indicators that the big players reference for trading.
9. When you are broke and see everything rising, it’s the FOMO trap. You haven’t missed an opportunity; the market is fishing for you.
In summary: 80% of market movements are manipulated; the core of trading is not intelligence but “patience + composure + waiting for signals.”
