To everyone staying up late watching the market
At three in the morning, the light from your phone screen reflects on your red eyes. Once again, you’ve been liquidated; you silently uninstall the trading app but in your heart, you’re calculating: "I'll recharge a bit after payday, next time I’ll definitely recover..."
Bro, I get it.
We’ve all gone through moments like this:
That trade that promised "only a 3% loss" but turned into 30%
That vow of "last time" that you repeated a dozen times
That self who knows it’s a trap but can’t help but jump in
In the winter of 2019, my account of 60,000 USD shrank to not even enough to buy a new phone. For three whole months, I woke up every day at four in the morning, my first reaction was to reach for my phone to check the market.
So how did I climb out?
Not through some mysterious strategy, but by finally daring to tell myself three things:
"My current approach just doesn’t work"
"I need to throw away all my past methods"
"I’m willing to start from the basics again"
The most ironic thing about this market is:
Those who ask daily "Which coin can make me rich"
Often share the same mindset as the me who once lost the most back in the day
And the real ones who made it out
Have all experienced moments of awakening like this:
"Turns out it’s not the market's fault
It’s that I’ve been repeating the same mistakes"
If you are currently struggling with losses
Why not honestly ask yourself:
Is it really that you can’t find a method
Or are you unwilling to admit —
That the person who needs to change
Is actually you?
