After a period of struggling in the crypto market, trying out various types from derivatives, spot, margin, bot… I finally learned a hard lesson:
Only low leverage and entering a position with a maximum of 1/3 of the account helps me survive long enough to avoid being swallowed by the market.
The FOMO, all-in, or high leverage once gave a feeling of being a "hero", but they are also a double-edged sword. Now, I choose to take it slow but steady. No need to get rich quickly, just need to avoid burning out.
Currently, I only trade BTC, with a max leverage of no more than 7. I only enter one position with 1/3 of the account. The rest is for DCA when necessary.
To anyone struggling in the market, remember: survive first, profits will come later.
