#AnfeliaInvestment - A report from the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA (BME:DIDA)) concluded that the recent U.S. airstrikes against Iranian nuclear facilities likely did not destroy the key components of Tehran's program but merely delayed it by a few months, media reported on Tuesday, citing U.S. officials informed on the matter.

The Pentagon's intelligence arm evaluated that the underground infrastructure, including centrifuges and enriched uranium stockpiles in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, remained mostly intact and potentially repairable in one or two months, according to reports.

The satellite images mentioned in the reports show that Tehran may have moved key materials to protected locations before the attacks.

President Donald Trump had described the mission as a "total obliteration" of Iran's nuclear capability. However, White House officials have dismissed the DIA's findings as "completely wrong," while asserting that the attack degraded Iran's nuclear capabilities.

CNN first reported the details of the DIA assessment on Tuesday.

This comes after President Trump announced a complete ceasefire between Israel and Iran late Monday, although doubts persisted about the durability of the truce, as Trump criticized both Israel and Iran for violating the agreement shortly after announcing it.
