PANews June 25 news, according to official sources, Aptos Labs, in collaboration with Jump Crypto, has officially launched the high-performance, decentralized hot storage network Shelby, specifically designed for Web3 real-time applications, suitable for scenarios such as streaming, AI data, social platforms, and DePIN. This network leverages global high-performance nodes, fiber backbone, and on-chain programmable architecture, achieving read and write speeds and reliability comparable to cloud services, breaking through the limitations of traditional Web2 services, and offering sub-second response times and pay-as-you-go billing among other capabilities. Currently, projects like Story Protocol and Metaplex will be the first to integrate, in order to validate its cross-chain real-time infrastructure potential. The Shelby developer testnet is expected to go live in the fourth quarter of 2025, at which point it will support multi-chain ecosystems including Aptos, Ethereum, and Solana.
