Osimhen: "All the bones in my face were broken"

Victor Osimhen has opened up about his horrific facial injury from 2021, calling it a "near-death experience."

During a clash against Inter Milan, the Napoli striker collided with defender Milan Škriniar, breaking multiple facial bones. “I saw blank. I didn’t know if I was alive until the goalkeeper touched me,” he said.

The surgery involved entering through his jaw, and Osimhen still wears a protective mask today. “The doctor told me, ‘If you take another hit like that, you’re done.’”
