[An HSBC survey showed that investor optimism in emerging markets has reached a two-year high] Golden Finance reported that an HSBC quarterly survey of 100 fund managers showed that investor confidence in emerging markets has reached its highest level in more than two years. The survey shows that about 44% of participants are currently optimistic about emerging markets over the next three months. This percentage exceeds the 36% recorded in March, which is the highest level since March 2023. The survey covers funds managing assets totaling $414 billion in emerging markets. Murad Olgun, an HSBC economist who led the survey, said: "There is still a consensus that emerging market stocks will rise over the next three months, and will outperform developed market stocks."
