Through the GTokenTool platform, you can easily clone existing Solana tokens by simply entering the contract address of the existing token to quickly deploy a new independent SPL token on the Solana blockchain. Here are the detailed steps:
1. Connect Wallet
Open the token clone page of GTokenTool

Click the 'Select Wallet' button in the upper right corner.
Select the Solana-compatible wallet you are using (such as Phantom, Solflare, etc.) and complete the connection.
Ensure that there is a small amount of SOL (approximately 0.02 SOL) in your wallet to pay for transaction fees.
You can choose the mainnet or testnet (the testnet is used for simulating operations; it is recommended to use the testnet for the first attempt).
2. Enter Clone Token Contract Address
In the clone page, find the 'Token Contract Address' input box.
Enter the contract address of the existing Solana SPL token you wish to clone (for example, the address of wSOL is So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112).
Note: Ensure that the entered address is a valid SPL token address. You can verify the legitimacy of the token address through Solscan.
Optional: Fill in the new token's name, symbol, precision, and other parameters according to the platform prompts (these parameters will define the characteristics of your new token).
3. Clone Token
After confirming that the input information is correct, click 'Create Now' or a similar button.
Your wallet (e.g., Phantom) will pop up a transaction confirmation window, check the transaction details and sign to confirm.
Pay a small amount of SOL as network fees (usually around 0.002 SOL, used for creating the token account).
Wait a few seconds; GTokenTool will complete the token cloning and generate a new token contract address.
Important: Copy and save the new token's contract address locally; this address is the unique identifier for your new token.
Tip: Do not close the page immediately; token creation may take a few seconds to complete. After successful creation, the page will display a 'Creation Successful' prompt.
4. Manage New Token
Once created successfully, you can view the token details on the management page of GTokenTool, such as:
Update token metadata (such as name, symbol, logo).
Configure permissions (such as freeze, mint, and burn permissions).
Perform batch transfers, presales, or airdrops.
