Once there was a dog dying of hunger, and nearby was a person, who was its caretaker, crying over the dog's death.
Someone asked: "Why are you crying?"
He said: "This dog possesses great qualities and is now dying of hunger."
The person asked: "What is this basket on your head?"
He replied: "There are loaves in this, which are my journey👇
is food."
He said: "Oppressor! Why don't you feed the dog a little bread from your provisions for the journey?"
He replied: "Not to the extent of love that I would feed him my bread."
Then he clarified: "Loaves are not obtained without a price, and these tears, which I am shedding for its sorrow, are free. I am not spending anything on them."
The person said with regret:
"May dust be upon your head! Is a piece of bread better than shedding tears?"
Oh oppressor! Tears are actually blood, which turns into water from grief and sorrow.
Oh fool! How can the price of blood be equal to that of dust?
Bread made from wheat, and wheat is produced from the earth."
Alas! Today, those Muslim rulers, who possess abundant resources, oil, wealth, and armies👇
They exist, but they are only content with statements, condemnatory resolutions, and expressions of regret.
As that person had said:
"Loaves are obtained with money, and tears are free."
Today, this is the attitude of Muslim rulers. Their words are cheap, but their wealth is precious.
Iranians and Palestinians do not need our tears, they need our rulers' practical support, financial aid, and a strong position on the global stage.
Unfortunately, we have sold ourselves.
