The formula for the marking price is as follows:

Marking price = Average of transaction prices over the past 10 seconds, calculated once per second.

If there are fewer than 21 transaction prices in the last 10 seconds, the average of the most recent 20 transaction prices will be taken for the pre-trading contract.

Transition period for pre-trading to standard contract

When Binance can obtain a stable index price in the spot market, the pre-trading perpetual contract will transition to a standard perpetual contract. During the transition period, the marking price of pre-trading will gradually converge to the marking price of the standard perpetual contract, with the formula as follows:

Marking price = Median (Price 1, Price 2, Contract Price). During the transition period, trading functions will not be affected, and unexecuted orders and positions will not be canceled.

The marking price after pre-trading ends is calculated as follows:

Once the cryptocurrency pair is listed on the spot market, pre-trading will soon end and be converted to a standard perpetual contract without further announcement.

When the above perpetual contract is launched, its funding rate limits are +2.00% / -2.00%;

Funding fees are settled every four hours;

Based on market risk conditions, Binance may adjust the parameters of the above contract.
