3000U to 300,000U: A Complete Guide to Rolling Positions

Rebuilding a Trading System from the Ruins of Liquidation. After three consecutive liquidations, I finally realized a truth: 90% of losses are not due to the market but due to execution.

The market has no shortage of opportunities; what is lacking is a truly controllable, replicable, and scalable trading system. That system, I built piece by piece through rolling positions.

Phase One: After liquidation, with only 3000U left, I did one thing—control drawdown.

At that time, the account had only 3000U, and my mindset was a mess. I didn’t rush to recover; I set a bottom line: I would never be liquidated again.

How did I do it? Control each order to within 20% of the total position, with leverage not exceeding 3 times.

Each stop loss was controlled within 5% of the total account. Lock in profits, stop on losses, even if it meant making only one trade a day. In this phase, I took 10 days to stabilize the account from 3000U to 6000U. Not relying on luck, but on execution.

Phase Two: Scaling through Rolling Positions—it's not all-in, it's about replicating the rhythm. After doubling the account, I started to divide and roll positions. How to roll? Split the account into 2-3 “independent rolling small positions,” each focusing on a specific rhythm (short-term, high-frequency, trend). After accumulating profits, roll a portion into the next position and continue rolling.

For example: The first roll went from 3000 to 6000, withdrawing 2000 to establish the second position.

The second position grew from 2000 to 5000, operating both positions together, with profits compounding. Throughout the entire process, there was not a single all-in bet; everything relied on rolling + locking + dividing.

Phase Three: Turning profits into a system to stabilize at 300,000U. Starting from 30,000U, I encountered fluctuations, false breakouts, and traps... but the account did not draw down more than 15%. Why?

Before making big money, I first adhered to discipline. At the moment I reached 300,000U, I was not excited,

Because I knew: this is not sudden wealth; it is the result of rolling positions.
