This Monday, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that Israel and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire.

The American leader expressed from his account on Truth Social: “Congratulations to everyone! Israel and Iran have fully agreed that there will be a total ceasefire (in approximately 6 hours, when both countries have completed their final missions), for 12 hours, at which point it will be considered that the war has ended.”

The world will officially announce the end of the 12-day war. During each ceasefire, the other party will remain peaceful and respectful. Assuming everything works as it should, which it will, I congratulate both countries, Israel and Iran, for their resilience, courage, and intelligence to end what should be called 'the 12-day war',” he noted.

In the writing, Trump specifies that it is a war that “could have lasted for years” and “destroyed the entire Middle East”, which did not happen.

“And it never will! God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and God bless the world!” he concluded.

The announcement of the ceasefire comes a few hours after it was revealed that Iran had launched six missiles against Qatar, which were intercepted.

This was Iran's response to the attacks carried out by the United States against three Iranian nuclear facilities.

In addition to Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, and Bahrain also closed their airspace due to the conflict in the Middle East.
