$BTC -
The price of Bitcoin fell on Monday, remaining under pressure after recording sharp losses over the weekend amid escalating fears of a larger escalation in the conflict in the Middle East following American strikes against Iranian nuclear infrastructure.
Bitcoin dropped by 1.3% to $101,501.8 by 01:35 (05:35 Saudi time), after plummeting to a low of $99,000 on Sunday. The weekend losses broke the world's largest cryptocurrency out of the trading range between $103,000 and $108,000 that it maintained for most of June, although it managed to hold above the $100,000 level.
