Community Whistleblower: Humanity may be a 'domestic project shell,' palm print data collection raises privacy concerns

BlockBeats reports that on June 23, users SCoin and AB Kuai.Dong exposed that the Humanity Protocol (H) may be a 'domestic project shell,' and images related to the palm print vendor in Shenzhen are still present in the APP's code material library, raising doubts about its authenticity. Netizens claim that the hype on its social media platforms is largely orchestrated by the project's small accounts, and actual user participation is in question.

Whistleblower AB Kuai.Dong stated that those who had previously certified with Humanity need to be cautious. Behind Zhangteng Information is an outsourcing company based in Shanghai that specializes in a full suite of identity recognition outsourcing.

In addition, the whistleblower SCoin claims that the project collects a large amount of users' palm print information, raising concerns about privacy and security, and thus questions the unclear purpose of the data. Currently, the project team has not responded to this.

According to confirmation from BlockBeats, there are indeed images related to 'palm vein recognition smart access control terminals' and 'Zhangteng Technology logo' in the code material library of the Humanity_1.0.2 version APK file.
