Meta Earth is creating a revolution in the Web3 space with the launch of ME Network 2.0, a modular blockchain ecosystem specifically designed for decentralized economies. Launched at the end of May 2025 alongside the ME Pass application, this Odyssey phase marks a significant milestone, promising to change the way decentralized applications (dApps) are interacted with and developed.
ME Network 2.0: Modular Blockchain Architecture and Technology Optimization
ME Network 2.0 introduces an advanced modular blockchain architecture with three distinct layers: execution layer (RollApp), settlement layer (ME-Hub), and data availability layer (ME-DA). This design provides unlimited scalability and high compatibility with various other ecosystems. The Sovereign Rollup chain can process transactions in parallel with custom virtual machines (EVM/WASM), reducing data storage costs by up to 98% through data availability sampling (DAS). This not only accelerates transaction processing but also optimizes costs and simplifies dApp integration.
The economic model of the network is also flexibly adjusted. The MEC token of Meta Earth acts as a bridge linking the layers, creating a closed-loop value cycle. Users only need to pay the RollApp gas fee, while the Sequencer handles the costs of data transfer between layers. The decentralized sequencer network uses the CometBFT algorithm, ensuring security with a staking penalty mechanism for fraudulent nodes, while also integrating fraud proofs and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) through the Groth16 algorithm, helping to reduce gas fees by up to 90%. The system also features real-time monitoring to detect risks early.
Meta Earth also stands out with its powerful cross-chain information transmission capabilities. The Multi-Blockchain Communication (MBC) protocol addresses the shortcomings of Optimistic Rollup, allowing for instant withdrawals through market maker prepayments while still ensuring fraud resistance. EVM compatibility supports Solidity and tools like MetaMask, while the EVM/WASM bridge connects to Ethereum and Cosmos. The system also features a DID (Decentralized Identifiers) toolkit that stores information on-chain and encrypts personal data off-chain for cross-chain transaction verification.
Another important improvement of ME Network 2.0 is the flexible gas fee mechanism to prevent Sybil attacks, optimizing communication between relayers and enhancing security among nodes. The verifying nodes on ME-DA require a minimum staking of 552,900 MEC, promoting community governance and creating transparent DAO proposals. All these changes contribute to making ME Network 2.0 a secure and scalable platform for next-generation Web3 applications.
Global Interaction and Vision of Meta Earth
Meta Earth is bringing the project's vision to a global scale through a series of events in 2025, creating opportunities for the community to meet and connect directly. Events that Meta Earth will attend include: Istanbul Blockchain Week (June), WebX Asia 2025 in Tokyo (August), and TOKEN2049 in Singapore (October). Here, the Meta Earth team will host workshops, seminars, and technology demos.
The technological breakthroughs of ME Network 2.0 in modular scalability, cost optimization, and cross-chain compatibility set a new standard for other decentralized networks. Combined with airdrop programs and a reward system on the ME Pass 3.0 application, the deflationary model along with various uses for the MEC token promises to deliver long-term value for holders.
