#SOL Are Solana spot ETFs soon to be approved?

According to BlockWorks, citing sources close to the matter, the SEC has reportedly asked Solana ETF applicants to submit their modifications to the S-1 forms within a week.

In other words, the U.S. financial watchdog has begun to provide a filing date for a key document. This suggests an upcoming launch, which could take place within a month.

According to a source, the arrival of SOL spot ETFs could happen within a timeframe of 3 to 5 weeks. This also aligns with a report from James Seyffart of Bloomberg Intelligence.

The final deadlines were in October, but it seems that the agency will decide on the fate of the Solana ETFs sooner than expected. The new SEC chairman, Paul Atkins, recently confirmed his commitment to cryptocurrencies.
