From 1200U to 23000U, how did I turn my situation around?

A few years ago, I was just an ordinary retail investor, the kind that lost a lot of money. After three years of trading, I went from 10k, 30k all the way down to 60k, without even understanding what 'stop loss' meant. I just knew that the more I lost, the more I wanted to gamble, and the more I gambled, the more I wanted to turn it around, until my account was down to only 1200U, I didn't even want to withdraw it.

That night, I couldn't sleep. I turned off all notifications and quietly reviewed every trade that I had lost. I finally understood: I wasn't losing because of the market, but because of my perception and execution.

So, I decided to go against the grain and try a rolling position strategy that others said was 'absolutely impossible.'

At first, I didn't believe it either, but I told myself: since I'm almost at zero anyway, why not bet on 'stability'?

I set three 'turnaround iron rules' for myself:

1️⃣ No chasing high prices, no all-in

2️⃣ Segment account operations, layer positions gradually

3️⃣ Every trade must have a complete trading plan

There was one trade I remember particularly well:

ETH rebounded from its previous low and then consolidated. I preemptively set up a reversal long position, capturing nearly a 10% swing, and my account grew from 1200U to 1900U. At that moment, I wasn't excited; I immediately took profits and locked in gains.

Just like that, 1200U → 23000U

I did it in less than two months. Every step was like walking a tightrope, but because my risk control was clear and the rhythm was defined, I was much steadier than those who easily went all in.

Looking back now, the account growing larger is actually the simplest part; the real challenge is whether you are willing to let go of the 'gambling' mindset and establish a trading logic that suits you.

If you are also in a losing position, stop relying on 'feelings' to trade, and don't hand your fate over to luck. If you're heading in the wrong direction, the harder you work, the further away you get. This method isn't suitable for everyone,

but if you really want to turn your situation around, you can follow me! Don't keep jumping into the same pit repeatedly.

Because some pits can only be truly understood by those who have walked through them!
