#IsraelIranConflict The President of the United States, Donald Trump, suggested this Sunday that he supports a "regime change" in Iran, a day after the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities.

"It is not politically correct to use the term 'regime change', but if the current Iranian regime cannot MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn't there be a regime change?", he wrote on his Truth Social platform. In another message on the same platform, he claimed that the damage to the Iranian nuclear facilities after the attack on Saturday night is "monumental".

"The impacts were strong and precise. Our military demonstrated great skill. Thank you!", he pointed out.

"We are not at war with Iran; we are at war with the Iranian nuclear program."

Trump made these statements after his government denied all day that the United States is at war with Iran due to the attack last night.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth pointed out that the operation was never aimed at seeking a "regime change" in Iran, but rather at dismantling its nuclear program.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained that the United States does not plan new military operations and invited Tehran to sit down to negotiate an agreement that puts an end to its uranium enrichment.

"We are not at war with Iran. We are at war with the Iranian nuclear program. And we are incredibly grateful and proud of the U.S. Air Force pilots who did an incredible job last night," said Vice President JD Vance. Iran has promised retaliation for the attack on the nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow, an operation dubbed 'Midnight Hammer' and which the Pentagon has described as the largest bombing with B-2 aircraft in history.
