#MarketPullback Market Pullback
A market pullback, also known as "Market Pullback", is a temporary decline in asset prices within an overall upward trend. It does not necessarily indicate the end of the upward trend; rather, it is usually an opportunity for the market to "catch its breath" before resuming the ascent. A pullback occurs when investors decide to take profits after a period of rising prices, or due to short-term negative news, or a change in investor sentiment.
This decline is considered natural and healthy for markets and typically ranges from 5% to 10% from the highest point the price has reached. For investors, a pullback can represent an opportunity to buy at lower prices.
