Who lost money for just a one-second decision?

Today something funny happened to me, I placed an order of 0.0003530 and the cryptocurrency dropped to 0.0003529.

By the time I changed the order, the cryptocurrency had fallen to the point of losing $0.03.

One second made me go from a possible gain of nearly 0.1$ to a loss of $0.03.
