In the cryptocurrency world, if trend trading is like a marathon, then scalping trading is a sprint. It tests not how accurately you can read the market, but how fast your reaction is, how decisive your execution is, and how resolute your exit is. Today, I will share with everyone how I conduct scalping trading on various cryptocurrencies like $BTC while maintaining rhythm and controlling risks.

📌 What is scalping trading?

Simply put, it is about using tiny fluctuations in 1-minute to 5-minute candlesticks to frequently enter and exit in a very short time to gain spread profits.

It is not about betting on direction, but about betting on 'immediate reaction,' which is more like a hybrid rhythm between quantitative and manual trading.

🧠 My scalping trading process

  1. Market selection:

Before the market opens each day, I will first filter outcryptocurrency pairs with high volatility and large trading volume. $BTC, $ETH, $SOL are my main battlefields, and I occasionally look at liquid and volatile varieties like $DOGE and $TRB.

  2. Technical signals:

    • Using 1min~3min candlesticks + EMA 5/13 + KDJ fast and slow line inflection points

    • Dense moving averages + increased volume with pin bars are key signals I focus on capturing

    • Adding a layer of Bollinger Bands to confirm the degree of deviation

    • MACD golden cross and death cross as reference, not the main signal

  3. Entry timing:

Generally only tradingclear directional pullbacks or pin bar rebounds, not engaging in neutral games in a volatile market.

If the price continuously shows pin bars + volume surges, and the long-short ratio is extremely biased to one side, I will quickly enter the market.

  4. Position and leverage:

Each time use no more than5% of the account as margin(within 500U),

leverage between 50~100 times, but setautomatic stop loss within -3%,

profit target of 0.5%~1% to take profit, resolutely not being greedy.

  5. Stop loss and take profit:

Successful scalping trades rely on discipline, not prediction.

    • Stop loss point: structure break / large orders eating away key limit orders

    • Take profit point: quick in and out, not greedy, execute 'immediate exit'

    • If there are three consecutive losing trades, immediately take a break to prevent emotional upheaval

🔐 How to control the risks of scalping trading?

  1. Do not over-leverage for small profits: Many people use 100x leverage and go all in, which is a path to death.

  2. Trade at fixed time periods: I only scalp during the opening of the European and American markets (20:00~23:00) because it has the most volatility and is easier to capture trades.

  3. Block distractions: do not open groups, do not scroll through social media, do not look at other KOL opinions, just focus on your own signals.

  4. Set a forced calm mechanism: if there are consecutive losses/emotional fluctuations, forcibly exit, do not cling to the battle.

🧘‍♀️ Requirements for scalping trading partners

  • Quick reaction: the time from signal appearance to order execution must not exceed 3 seconds

  • Psychological quality: cannot hesitate, cannot be attached to positions, cannot panic

  • Assess the situation: scalping is not gambling, but a combination of rhythm + logic

  • Focus on stamina: control each trading session to within 15~30 minutes to avoid fatigue.

💬 In summary:

Scalping is not something everyone can do, but once you master the rhythm, it can squeeze the market fluctuations into profits like a 'sensitive sense of smell.'
