Trump is elated and says:
The U.S. military recently executed precise and comprehensive strikes on the three main nuclear facilities of the Iranian regime: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
Everyone has heard these names for years, as they build this horrific destructive project.
Our goal was to destroy Iran's ability to enrich uranium and end the nuclear threat posed by the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.
Tonight, I can announce to the world that the attacks were a resounding military success. The main nuclear enrichment facilities in Iran have been completely destroyed.
Iran, the oppressive force in the Middle East, must achieve peace now.
If it does not, future attacks will be much harsher and far easier.
For forty years, Iran has chanted:
"Death to America!" and "Death to Israel!".
They have killed our people, blowing off their arms and legs with roadside bombs.
This was their specialty.
We lost more than a thousand people, and hundreds of thousands have died across the Middle East and around the world due to hatred, most notably General Qassem Soleimani.
I decided long ago that I would not allow this to happen.
It will not continue.
I would like to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Netanyahu; we have worked as one team, like no team has ever worked before.
