Having found interest in $LAYER as a good investment, I started doing a little research as this token was relatively unknown to me.
Reading about the inflow/outflow and circulation supply, I came across the fact that large amounts of tokens are currently locked.
Digging a little further I saw that the largest wallet holder had something surprising movements on its transaction list.
Namely the sum of $15,314,998.97 being sent to another wallet and several casino transaction, then a large move to yet another wallet and more casino transaction, and then once again with more casino gambling.
So this made me wonder, is the holder of this wallet with the locked $LAYER tokens trying to hide their actions of gambling while moving to new wallets all the time?
I was under the impression that holders of a locked token were under contracted obligation to keep the funds locked, but how us it then possible that the owner of this wallet keeps using the tokens and then moving them to new wallets after a month or so?
Does anyone know about this, how it works or what is going on here? To me it feels like there is a claim that x millions of the token are locked, but maybe that is not the case?
I would like some clarification here if anyone knows whats going on, because I don’t feel like having a (to me) large investment in a token that is gambled away in casinos instead of being used as liquidity and collateral. However, if this is just a person gamblin their own money away in a casino, then I have no problem investing.
