#USNationalDebt $XRP
Could XRP be the magic solution (or does it seem too good to be true)?
Imagine this: the U.S. Treasury takes a large portion of the XRP deposit, at $1,000 each, totaling $36 trillion. Would this be enough to pay off the national debt? Let's assume $9 trillion will be refinanced this year.
If this happens, it would not only eliminate the annual payments of $1 billion for servicing the debt, but it would also allow for extremely low tax rates, possibly saving vital programs like Social Security and healthcare.
It sounds amazing, doesn't it? And perhaps it seems too good to be true. The truth is that Congress will find a way to complicate things, like "sharks in a feeding frenzy."
If the government values XRP and takes it at $1,000, it would just be a credit step, just like our current currency. Would it serve as a financial "magic wand"?
Nonetheless, let's remember that utility and operational value are the true basis for the price of XRP.
