Bloomberg ETF analysts James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas have boosted the chances of SEC approval for spot ETFs tied to Solana (SOL) 🌞, Litecoin (LTC) 💎, and XRP 🌊 to a strong 95% in 2025. In a June 20 update on X, they also gave 90% odds to other altcoins like Dogecoin 🐶, Cardano 🔷, Avalanche ❄️, Hedera 🌐, and Polkadot 🎯—signaling rising confidence in broader crypto ETF expansion.
The analysts attribute this surge in optimism to positive SEC engagement 🏛️ and acknowledgment of several 19b-4 forms 📄. They note that many of these altcoins already have CFTC-regulated futures markets 📊, reinforcing their status as commodities. In addition, crypto basket ETF filings from Grayscale, Bitwise, Hashdex, and Franklin Templeton were also rated at 95% odds, with key decisions due between July and November ⏳.
