How is junk food unhealthy?

Recently, my 8-year-old cousin underwent surgery. She had been complaining of stomach aches every fortnight, accompanied by vomiting. On the 14th of March, during Holi, she experienced intense pain in her left thigh around the pelvic region. Initially, we thought it was just muscle pain, so we took her to some local therapists who provided massages, but that didn’t help. Her pain became unbearable, so we decided to take her to the hospital. After several tests, the doctors discovered that she had pus in her stomach. At that time, they were unsure of the cause but informed us that it could be linked to tuberculosis, an ulcer, or even blood cancer. The doctors suggested surgery to remove the pus. Later, they confirmed that her condition was due to consuming a lot of junk food, which is a rare issue typically found in slums. Since then, we have been fearful of eating junk food or anything from outside. We believe it’s better to stay hungry than to risk ending up in that situation again.

It is the pus collected from inside the stomach…
