A U.S. state unexpectedly chose two alternative currencies for its stablecoin network

Wyoming, one of the rural states in the United States, has selected two different alternative currencies to integrate its stablecoin system.

The state of Wyoming, one of the most crypto-friendly states in the U.S., has officially announced that it has chosen the Aptos and Solana blockchains for its state-backed stablecoin project WYST.

In a statement from the Wyoming Stable Token Committee, it was noted that both networks received the highest scores in terms of technical efficiency and performance, and the stablecoin WYST was designated as priority distribution platforms.
