1. Only invest what you are willing to lose.
2. Invest in Spot, not in futures.
3. Ideally, do not use leverage.
4. Diversify among several altcoins.
5. Mostly invest in high-cap altcoins. To a lesser extent, invest in memes and low-cap altcoins.
6. Learn technical analysis; this way you'll learn to read charts and better understand how the market moves.
7. Do not invest on a day when the green candle is shooting through the sky; wait for the drop.
8. Do not invest in those newly added here on Binance; they tend to drop a lot after a few days.
9. Avoid altcoins that have the 'under observation' label as they may be removed from Binance.
10. Build a portfolio and review it continuously to see if you need to change allocations or include or remove altcoins.
11. Don't believe those who say 'the altcoin season is coming' or 'altcoin season will arrive tomorrow.' Everything changed when the Bitcoin ETF was approved, and countries and institutions keep buying Bitcoin. At some point, altcoins will rise, especially when ETH breaks 3,000 and 4,000 and makes a new all-time high. Not before.
