According to a statement issued by the SEI network, the network has been chosen among the networks that will support the WYST currency issued by the state of Wyoming 🇺🇸
The Wyoming Securities Commission announced the selection of the SEI network as one of the candidate networks to be approved for the issuance of currency #WYST , the first fiat-backed stablecoin launched by a U.S. state.
The currency will be deployed via the #LAYERZERO protocol in a move that reflects the rapid progress towards integrating Web3 infrastructure within official financial systems.
